    ABOUT ME

  • Well, first off, "Mashuganabrew" was conjured up during our first all grain day, we were looking for a new word for "Crazy" brew and a jewish friend threw out "Mashugana" BAM! Mashugana Brew was born.... too many beers that day. Anyway, I broke my leg last year skiing and was looking for something to fill the void this winter while I get back to 100%. So I brewed once with a friend and blew the dust off the beer kit I bought years ago. I've expanded my equipment quite rapidly and I have several batches under my belt and many more planned. I'm hooked.... can I quit my job and brew all day. Now please!?!

One of the biggest things I did to reduce my pump issues was to attach the pump directly to the
kettle outlet (No hose). I am not exactly sure why it helps but it does.Do you have pictures of
    this? Is...

open it up for you to 1/2" ID min or since you are already changing it i would open it to a
    5/8" ID....And i...

The biggest part of your problem is your inlet restriction on the pump (aka the 1/4" bk drain).
Centrifugal pumps don't like to have their inlets restricted. It may not be the answer you were
    looking ...

I have the 815 March pumps and with the poly head, been using them lil over a year now and I
hate them. I don't know if these are the HF options or not, but they just don't work well. Part

  • Posted in thread: Stouts - Bottle priming vs kegged on beer gas on 12-21-2012 at 11:00 PM
No question that my stouts taste a 1000% better on beer gas, but what is it that i'm detecting
in the same beer that's bottle primed. The taste is completely different. The kegged version is
    creamy an...

Carbonate to around 1 volume with CO2. Serve on pure nitrogen or pure argon. It takes a long
time for the pour to be adversely affected (so far, for me, at least several weeks - and I've

I have 3 kids, I can tell you that these things either last forever or turn into the most god
awful slurry of mush you'll ever see. I wouldn't recomend using them in the secondary unless
    you want them...
