  • got into home brewing through a friend, have only been a kit maker so far but i'm starting soon with partial mash and hopefully all grain in the future, now i've bought a house instead of renting i can build my own set up!!

    before? If you sanitized it the first time, and washed and stored properly it it should still

    i never sanitise my bottles and i never have a problem,my theory is if the beer was good out of
    the bottle then the beer came from an environment that suited it, i drink the beer then rinse
    the bottle...

    i use stainless kegs for fermenting so the more obvious/easier methods don't work so well when
    you can't see inside,i'mm now going to go and search for cheap accurate scales! preferably the
    luggage ty...

    cheers,i thought so but there was doubt in my mind,any scales would be more accurate than my
    current method of guessing the amount of trub left in the bottom of the kettle!

    i did a search for this and couldn't find anything which surprised me.i want to accurately
    determine the amount of beer in my fermenter for pitching rates etc,if i know the weight of my
    empty fermente...
