  • Got into this via winemaking. I got 2 of my carboys from my father, who gave up after trying one wine kit. I made a blueberry wine that's great in sangria (still needs to be bottled... we used the 1 gal jug extra for tasting and sangria). It's a little light-bodied for straight drinking. From there, I had (nearly) all the equipment to start making beer... and now I'm really getting into it!rnrnRecipes made (oldest first):rnBlueberry Melomel (with inverted Honey!) -- great for SangriarnGlass flavored Skeeter Pee (not using floating thermos anymore)rnMidwest Copper AlernGerman Style Hefeweizen (x2)
