Hi AllI have a refridgerator kegerator in the garage sitting at 35F, which currently is holding

Just be carefull not to make the mash to thick (ie. go below the 1.1 qt/lbs) or to end up with
too much wort after sparging (nobody wants to do a 180min boil ;-)Good luck on your first AG

According to beersmith (using the water needed calculator) the grain will absorb app. 1.86gal,
so you will need:Water into BK: = 5*1.15 = ~6galsWort drained from mash = 5-1.86 =

I only measure gravity at pitch as well, then again I have no efficiency problem...Reg.
lautering speed its full on.. I double batch sparge (using BobbyMøs NMODBS), the important part
when doing batch...
