Had him come over the house with his All Grain Setup of 10 Gal Mash-tun cooler and bayou classic burner and 8 gallon kettle and give me a walk through his brew day. I was hooked and bought his same setup. Since then I now have upgraded my kettle to a Keggle w/sightglass and camlock fittings. Got a pump to do whirlpool hopping and easy transfer. Love brewing hoppy Pale Ales, IPAs, Porters, Oatmeal Stouts.

It was always necessary when using a carboy, especially one too small. I've been using buckets
and the blowoff tube seems quite unnecessary these days.

I recently also purchased a crappy one output temp control stc-1000 ripoff. The first thing was

Yep give it time. What temp do you have it at? The cooler the longer it will take to start up,
but once I starts keep it someplace temperature stabile in the 60s if possible and dark
    (basement).
