I am very new new to brewing though I have been a beer lover since being stationed in Germany in the eighties. Before then, beer was a means to the end of getting drunk!
I have taken to AG like a duck to water! Moved from LPG burners to heat sticks, picked up a Barley crusher and have 5 all grain brews in various stages (correction, 4 AGs. The fist keg is floating!) - Oktoberfest

Thanks for all the quick replies everyone. For those that have the braid around the bottom
circumference: did you have to get multiple braids and use some sort of T joint? I've got one

I made my siphon tube run around the perimeter of the keggle and put a SS braid on for a
strainer. It lays right in the roll at the bottom of the keg. Once I whirlpool the wort after
