  • I got started in Jan of 2009 as an extract brewer, recently made the switch to all grain in October. My wife bought me a starter kit last Christmas, I had been talking about brewing since around 2000, but she finally got me started. I have primarily been brewing pale ales and stouts, recently started expanding my horizons into other styles.

    I hop my IPA's and Pale Ales almost exclusively in the last 15 minutes and have been very very
    pleased with the results.

    I am curious to what you did with the bottles and your results on this. I have had a streak of
    infected batches as well and think I have it pin pointed to the bottles at this point.

    I would go grain mill and keg set up. I just got a grain mill and love it. Hoping for a keg
