    the surger is not "carbonating" the beer, it is releasing the air in the beer to create the
    famous guinness head...I work for a distributor of guinness (among other imports) in NW Indiana
    and we dont ...

    Hefe's are better when you drink them young. what was your fermentation temps?? i'm pretty new
    but the temp can play a lot into the esters your yeast produced

    that would be quite a feat to emulate a draft guinness.....I've always found the bottles and
    cans quite inferior to a nice draft....Aren't the bottles and cans pasturized and kegs are
