The one on the left was the second one if you can tell there is more sediment settling out than
the one on the right

Quite delicious after back sweetening a little sample. Still very thick and had quite a time
trying to siphon the "sludge" of the apple butter through. Will rack again in another week

I made spiced apple butter and used it in a 2 gal cider both must and apple butter were made
with crab apples (atleast i think thats what kind they are)

I have access to lots of "crabapples" i made cider with them in 2011 which was my first
pressing and after a year in bottles it was amazing. Doing a graff similar to your recipe using
light wheat LME ...

Yes I have made with and without sugar. The without sugar recipe seems to be more heavily
bodied with a better mouthfeel. Also I notice that it has less alcohol hot without any aging.

Thank you. That does help. How does your wine turn out not using any sugar? Have you made any
with sugar. If so how would you compare them? Still not sure what i am going to do. Strawberry
