  • I got into brewing, like I get into everything else, I fall into it. and go at 100MPH. my first batch was a Breweres Best kit and it was a Belgiun Tripel. My Second brew was a ingredients kit I made with my local HBS and it was for an Amber ale. I think my nest will ber a Porter, I like all small batch/micro beers, Everything is my favorite!!!!!

    My OG was taken at the time of pre boil and it measured at 1.055 on 8.5 gallons. I did brew

    From what I understood Black Patent is generally just for color, and doesn't really change
