  • I got into home brewing in Jan 2006. I regularly went past Austin Homebrew Supply on Burnet road in Austin and finally got curious enough to stop in. Joined forums, did research and bought a kit.

I now have completed over 3o different recipes which include Pale Ales, Pilsners, Brown Ales, Porters, Bitters and IPAs. I primarily keg but bottle some from keg using picnic tap setup.

    My current setup is:
RO System for Water (I build water with salts)
42 quart Polarware with valve & thermometer
15.5 gallon keggle boil pot for 10 gallon batches
58 Quart Colman Extreme Mash Tun with 6" Braid
    Barley Crusher Malt Mill
15.5 Keg for HLT on Natural Gas
15.5 Keg for RO Water Storage
Turkey Fryer for Boil until Nat Gas Brew Cart is completed.
50' Immersion Chiller with sump pump in cooler.
7 CF Freezer with Johnson Controller for Temp Control
    6,5 & 3 Gallon Better Bottles
    About 5-600 Recycled Bottles.
    5- 5 Gal & 1- 2.5 Gal Kegs with 15 lb CO2 tank connected to fridge kegger

I use these. Pour is 100% and will swell when hot wort is poured in to almost 5.5 gallon if you
    wish.
