  • A friend showed me how to home brew and I have been hooked ever since. I do all of my shopping at American Brew Master in Raleigh NC, and 5th Season in Cary, NC.

    I have the basic essentials: 4 fermentation buckets (3 with spouts, 1 w/o), 2 4+ gallon stainless steel brew pots, bottle caper, bottle filler, siphon, spec gravity reader, thermometer, wort chiller, thermometer, gas stove etc...

    I have brewed: Warsteiner, Pilsner Urquell Clone, American Amber, Traditional Stout, Northern Brown Ale, American IPA, Summer Sipper, Oatmeal Stout, Creme Ale, Belgian Tripple.

    Throwing away beer because it does not look right is paramount to alcohol abuse :) Just chill
    and let the ber do what it is gonna do. Darken, lighten...whatever. If the beer tastes good,
    then drink it...
