    Thanks. Wonder if that will clean it and then some type of polyurethane sealer will seal it up
    permanently.

    How on earth do I clean and seal the black plastic of my kegs? The plastic/rubber leaves streak
    marks all over the kitchen floor, in my kegerator and makes my hands black.

    How about a whole-house ozone generator? You can rent them. You would need to do this before
    you move in because high concentrations of ozone are not good for people or pets.
