I find this puzzling I use a bazooka screen, always grain first, the only time I had a stuck
sparge was when I ground the grain too fine. The max grain I've done is 20 lbs. So was I lucky
or is the OP...

Don't know what too warm is for nott. I ferment at start temp about 64 (pitch) within 3 or 4
days I'm at 67, no off flavors.
