Ok, my brew day went off without a hitch on Saturday (23AUG).On Friday, I discovered that the
10" banjou burner I bought wouldn't fit the OEM stand that came with the 2" burner I bought
    years ago. So,...

multi-step mash schedule. My first attempt. We'll keep it simple.Protein Rest, 122F for

I started kegging just over a year ago. At first, I was very excited. No more bottling. I could
walk over to my 7 cuft freezer, open the chest, grab one of my picnic taps and have a beer.

Beer tastes great. I brewed the exact same IPA a couple weeks later with sanitized equipment
    and I can't t...

Hello, I bought a Wyeast Smack Pack over a week ago. When I got home I went to put the pack in
the fridge and thought it was a little inflated. Today, I take the pack out and I can't feel
    the yeast pou...

Didn't even think about the foam until I transferred the 'sanitizer' from the tote to a carboy
for use in the next brew session. Funny, no bubbles? Noooo!

Ok, I've learned over the last year of brewing not to drink (too much) on a brew day. I
deliberately start the day sober and will not partake until the grains are in sach's rest. So,
