After failed experiments when I was really young (like 8 or 9), then dumb (teens), Broke (early twenties), I finally bought a book I read most of the book and it was placed on a shelf for a while, I did not have the equipment nor resources to get started. Then one day I looked again and realized I had most of what I needed. Common kitchen equipment can get you really far... I also found Palmers Website, and Midwest brew supplies. I have been obsessed since to my SWMBO's dismay. Good thing we don't live together yet... :)
