I have used Notty in a stout before and it tasted quite fine. But I do prefer S04 for a stout.

No this wont make the beer flat. Just disconnect the gas or turn it off, then bleed off the
pressure. Toss in your sanitized hop bag and close it back up, then turn the gas back on to the

I would leave the drain intact and either run the probe through the lid or through the

Your problem probably is that you filled the keg too far up - there is a short tube that dips
