  • I like to do just about anything outdoors, and try to include my family. I am bottling a 12 pack out of every batch to take on vacation, well that is the plan!

  • I started brewing in Sept of 2009 with one extract kit it was a brown ale. I learned to wait for the beer to finish before drinking it. Saves on toilet paper that way!!! I thought the extract kit was just to easy, so I tried a partial mash. I liked this even better, but it wasn't what I was looking for. So I saved and scouted for free supplies and built my all grain setup. Now I have my set up working just like I want it for now. I have 8 kegs, and a 16 cubic foot keezer, and a very supportive and understanding wife!!!

    Has anyone tried drilling and tapping the keg wall for 1/2 npt for weldless fittings?

    Did Jamal's recipe last year everyone loved it. 5 pound of baked pumpkin in the mash. Not to
    bad only had to clean pump out once. I would recommend his recipe. Have requests to brew it
    again this year...
