I started brewing in Seattle when a couple of friends of mine went in together on a kit from the LHBS for me one Christmas. It was definitely a learning experience, and I didn't really like my own beers until I started using more hops and some specialty grains. When I moved to California I gave my brewing equipment to a friend who was just getting going, and I took a break. Fast-forward to 2011 and three co-workers goaded me into brewing again. I now brew with them and have found great pleasure in crafting our own recipes.
