What was the FG of your saison? Bacteria need to eat, too.I used 3711 and it got down to 1.001.
Would I have to add some dme to give them some grub?

Have about 4 gallons left on a 4 month old saison in the keg I just dont enjoy, thinking of
adding some souring bugs in a carboy and letting it sit. Anyone try this?

I would use marris otter instead of pale, but thats just my opinion. I would cut back and
change the hops as well. No need for aroma additions unless thats what you are going for.

Going to brew this in the next week or so to prepare for a holiday BBQ. Split the flaked barley
weight and used flaked oats for the difference. Not sure why, just love oats in my stouts.
