  • Fairly new brewer, just started this year, have about 8 brews under my belt including:

    American Light Ale
    Red Ale
    Cowboy Blonde
    Pumpkin Ale
    Blueberry Ale
    Chocolate Coffee Stout (conditioning)

    Just Brewed a Maibock and its fermenting, i'm doing a Honey Nut Brown Ale today.

  • Looked into home brewing while deployed, got home, bought a kit, brewed a few batches, really impressed with how easy it is and just started trying adding my own touches. I added some clementine peels and coriander to the Maibock i'm making now and plan on adding roasted almonds to the english brown ale i will make today.

    I was unaware of those beer spigots not being designed to be gas tight, i just figured they
    were...yes this cylinder was just filled and its 3/4 full now off of just 2 5 gallon
