    ABOUT ME

  • Fairly new brewer, just started this year, have about 8 brews under my belt including:

    American Light Ale
    Red Ale
    Cowboy Blonde
    Pumpkin Ale
    Blueberry Ale
    Chocolate Coffee Stout (conditioning)

    Just Brewed a Maibock and its fermenting, i'm doing a Honey Nut Brown Ale today.

  • Looked into home brewing while deployed, got home, bought a kit, brewed a few batches, really impressed with how easy it is and just started trying adding my own touches. I added some clementine peels and coriander to the Maibock i'm making now and plan on adding roasted almonds to the english brown ale i will make today.

    For a quick extract batch, you're more limited on what you have. Ie, you'd use your rye malt
    extract. How about a rye pale or ipa. Bitter with magnum and use the cascade/simcoe for flavor
