None of it's "hard" necessarily, just more involved. There is nothing wrong however getting a
good start with extracts before moving on to all grain (nothing wrong with staying with
extracts for that ...

I am not sure if any one really cares for a follow up but I did the sugar solution and it
worked out amazingly. It did seem a little bit watered down. But i think 2 cups is to much
water for my 8 lite...
