    Just threw this into a 5 gallon carboy 2 days ago. This is my first cider. My OG was closer to
    1.080. Maybe Costco upped the sugars in the juice.I've got a good amount of bubbles in the blow

    Does it have a "winey" aftertaste?Coming out of secondary it did a little but that goes away
    after a week or so in the keg. I let all my ciders and beers carb for 2 weeks before tapping
    the keg anyway...

    If you transfer to a keg, chill for 24 hrs then backsweeten then you don't have to worry about
    fermentation kicking off again. The yeast will go and stay dormant. I do the same thing with no
    problems....
