Bad idea IMO... Simply because you will have no idea where your fermentation stands. I have had
some brews ferment out almost completely in less than 48, and some that have taken up to 4
    weeks to reac...

My thoughts on the cleaning problem... I use a 17.5 gallon cooler for my mash tun, and I just
use a 2 quart pitcher to scoop out the spent grains. Sure, I can take and flip the cooler when
    most of the...

    confused myself....

Has anyone ever had a close-up view of a commercial scale brewery in action? I had the
opportunity to brew on a 15 barrel system and during the mash they recirculate, and as the wort
    recirculates it i...

I too am in the middle of a similar build, so I am by no means an expert/qualified to give an
answer, but it's the interwebs so I'll do so anyways :-) I literally just ordered the following

I'm in a similar boat and had a similar question, so I'm glad to see the replies here. I too am
in the planning process for a portable eHERMS system. I have a nice 8 gallon stainless kettle

I just pulled the trigger on one of these. I'm in the process of building a portable HERMS
system and will be using this to recirculate hot liquor in my eHLT, and then also to move the
    hot liquor for ...
