Sometimes a ferment will go pretty fast. I've had a beer ferment out to nearly complete in 36
hours or so before. So it could have been slowing anyway. Also, the fermentation will slow with
a cooler t...Posted in thread: Best Bottle Opener Ever on 01-17-2008 at 05:38 PM
That's cool. I just didn't know if it would or not. I don't see mine beaking in normal use, but
it was suprising to me that they'd make it look so much like one of their lifetime guaranteed
tools and ...Posted in thread: Best Bottle Opener Ever on 01-17-2008 at 02:30 PM
Might want to check the "lifetime guarantee" on that thing. My folks got me a craftsman bottle
opener for christmas. It's different from that one (Mine has a screwdriver handle with a
standard pry off...Posted in thread: Name your favorite Beer styles and why on 01-15-2008 at 02:48 AM

Good to know. Thanks.Posted in thread: 2-Row pale malt in a Kölsch? on 01-05-2008 at 06:30 PM
Just got back from the LHBS, gonna brew up a kölsch today. The shop didn't have the pilsner
malt that my recipe calls for, so I picked up 2-row pale malt instead. Any thoughts on how this
could affect...Posted in thread: Has anyone found a good source for Used(read CHEAP) soda kegs? on 12-18-2007 at 07:27 PM
This is where mine came from: you get their "Grade 'B' " kegs, you can get 4 for $80 before
shipping, but shipping wasn't crazy on mine IIRC.
