Even at a non bulk grain price you are still missing the point here. You will pay more for the
kit. The kit is made be by what ever shop you go to. They are charging you for the time it took

Full sail was/is selling them for $40 a pop in hood river. Decomissioned and includes paperwork
to prove it. Apparently it costs less to buy new ones than refurbish old ones (parts + labor).

Yeah, the lid has insulation. I this the airspace is the issue with the heat, combined with the
cooler needing to draw the heat in. I think preheating will probably solve the problem. If not

Yeah, I haven't been preheating. I'll try that this time. I'll bring the water up to 150ish and
throw it in there while bringing my strike water to temp.
