- I'm a pretty simple guy who loves craft beer. My favorites are Stouts, Imperial Stouts, and Porters but I also like Amber Ales and Nut Browns quite a bit. I won't turn my nose up at anything PBR or above. Lower than that and the beer snob in me comes out.

Completely normal. Usually, the first leaves to emerge will be kind of spade shaped and whole.
A set or three later they'll begin to take on the appearance of that particular variety,

Not sure about the leaf shape, but it appears that you have aphids or some sort of critters (it
originally loaded the pictures huge and they're pretty obvious). Not sure if they're beneficial
or harmf...Posted in thread: Different leaves on the same hop plant? on 06-05-2013 at 01:20 AM
This is my first year growing hops. I remember Reading awhile back that you can't tell two
plants apart because the leaves are identical. So...is it normal to have different leaves on
the same plant?Posted in thread: $4.70 Sparge Arm on 06-04-2013 at 01:14 AM
Interesting, I think I'm going to try that sometime.
