Just use the tube the hydrometer came in. ++1 this is what i do and save yourself some
homebrew. Just make sure it is stable and put a marker line on the tube.

Just did this myself with a saison i bottled and left a gallon behind.Dumped the dregs of two

Never said i disliked the beer...Ironic part is i have a post from a year ago about using
