JasoninBTR, that would be a worthy improvement for next year: a way to keep the lines cold.
Filling the canoe with ice would be impractical for a lot of reasons. Maybe some kind of PVC

Looks like you have it Brewski. You might want to grab a 2L flask for stepping up

Just break material/trub. It will settle out and make a tight cake on the bottom.....probably
1/4 to 1/2 gallon worth. When fermentation wraps up you will see the yeast layer on top of
