  • After traveling to Germany and Greece, and enjoying the differences in beer and wine I started drinking some craft beers. Now I decided it was time to make some after reading about brewing on the intrenet.

    Just got back home and checked the gravity, 0.990. I racked it to the carboy and put a dark bag
    over it. Time to let it sit for 3 to 6 months. I little tart and warming.

    Just picked 70 lbs of pears today. Canned 10 quarts in light syrup and planning on making sauce
    tomorrow. I think I may get some more and give pear wine a chance.
