  • I got in to brewing because I like good beer, and it seemed like the right thing to do. Another interest of mine is chemistry, though it's complicated I love learning abuot the subject in general. What better way to play chemist than home brew? Thanks to this sight I made a good extract clone of mac&jack and it was good.
  • I would like to develope and brew my own recipes that could pass as pro IPA,porters,ambers,and stouts. Wishful thinking on my part.

    Of course it's ok! The only thing you can't do is enter it in BJCP competitions as "stout" as
    it's out of the guidelines. But you certainly could enter it as a "specialty ale" and not be
