  • brew with my roommate. we call our homebrews 'narbrew'
he has brewed before, but our first combined effort was in december when we made a dunkelweizen. we used a hefeweizen kit and added a pound each of chocolate and crystal malts. sounds a bit excessive, but it turned out great. i will definitely be refining the recipe. our second brew was a scottish ale, which turned out good, but we both feel it's a bit low in the flavor department. right now we have an irish red bottled, and will open it in a week or so. just brewed a belgian witbier tonight.

selling our homebrew sounds like the best job ever. while i'm sure it's not impossible, it is
definitely improbable/a huge pain in the butt to be successful at it. i just finished watching
    the movie '...
