What do you mean by whole after each amount of hops added?

  • Posted in thread: Tripel IPA on 10-19-2012 at 06:06 PM
I'm thinking of doing a six gallon batch of this. I would double the grain, sugar and extracts,
but would I double the hop amt?

Thanks for the suggestions! I do like the idea of the chocolate mint stout and I have thought
about trying one of those. Perhaps I'll make a brown ale and a chocolate mint stout and see
    what I want to...

started fermentation almost immediately, and it smells of bread and honey. I like to expirement
    so I figure...

Okay thanks! I'm not too worried, but I would hate to see a batch go bad! I've brewed a lot of
beer this year and I have not seen this happen yet. I'll wait it out and brew another in the
    meantime.

in the airlock. I thought this was because some yeast found some food when unsettled during
    transfer. It...

It may be the best thing you've ever tasted! I've heard of 25 year old meads found in
basements, but no such luck on my part.
