    Not sure about your legal question, but as a consumer if saw a bottle with a rubber band
    holding the label on I would certainly choose a different brand. You might want to rethink

    I'd say they were from the bottle. No way they could live from the grain, through the mash then
    through the boil. At least they died happy.

    Yes, there is always a protective oxide layer.But once it's formed, it takes something major to
    remove it. You can store your pot with lid on as usual.
