Haven't bought it yet, but I have decided upon the Monster MM 3 with 1/2" shaft without
stainless rollers or hopper. I'll make the hopper myself, I'll post a pic when its
    done.Everyone's input was ver...

LandoLincoln too funny! Its just a hunch but I'm betting that you are in the 2 roller camp. I
actually haven't made up my mind which to buy. Sometimes I think, "what the heck, 3 is better
    than 2" and ...

That is what I thought, so why all the issues? Seems to me if you can adjust a 2 roller mill, a
3 roller should be no different,

I've but reading all the pro's and cons about 2 and 3 roller mills and I'm confused about one
issue. I've read quite a bit that 3 roller mills are harder to adjust than 2 roller mills. Why
    is that? Wh...

The JSP Malt is another very fine mill. I like the fact that the mill comes with an option to
gear both rollers virtually insuring that they don't lock up. I also learned "The Barley
    Crusher is also m...

I considered that mill as well as well. Now I'm not saying that it is a bad or good mill, I
just don't know. I did read some not so favorable posts on this web site. I also could not find
    anything con...

I'm about to purchase my first grain mill and I need some quick advice. I have $200 to spend on
the mill and I'm torn between the Monster MM2 with stainless rollers and regular MM3, both with
    1/2" sha...

I was afraid that soldering might not work. So I called my local welding supply (I have a MIG
welder) and they gave me the name of local TIG welder, so I called him. Well he wants $50 to
    weld it. Is t...

Starsan is an acid based sanitizer, I'll bet it ate into the tubing. That's why it's sticky.
I'd throw out the tube and buy another. It's not worth risking a bad batch of beer!
