Here's that copper piece that screws in the end of the aluminum cap. This is where the wires
led back to the timer in the original setup. The rounded end fits in snug with the

Another bump to say thanks for this fryer modification, this is going to save me tons of
headaches. After a few uses, I was having the same issues with the burner randomly shutting off
