  • Started brewing like most doing 5 gallon extract kits, moved to partial mashes and finally moved to all-grain a couple of years ago. My current set up is a three tier keggle set-up. I'm constantly tweaking and improving it. I've really gotten into writing my own recipes and playing with ingredients to make unique brews. I'm planning on a hop garden next year and would really like try harvesting my own yeast.

    I agree with cutting out brown sugar and honey as well...it will thin it out way too much. I
    second the use of biscuit malt and if your looking for the honey flavor...look at honey malt.

    What about doing double batches on brew day? You already have the equipment out already. Just
