What about PVC Pipe (sized appropriately of course 3" up to 6" for whatever bottle diameters
you have)??...my dad built one like this in a hutch for my sister...cut the PVC with a chop saw

That wouldn't necessarily isolate the elements from getting power though, in the event where
something went wrong and there was a failure somewhere I would potentially have loads to both
