  • Started Brewing thinking I would save money (HA). Keep brewing because I LOVE IT. I started with a single carboy and a pot on the stove. I now have a all grain system with a recirc. mash temperature control on the HLT and Mash uning PID's. Simple burner on burner off on the HLT and a 36" long heat stick in a SS tube for the mash. can also control the Boil with temp control if i chose but have never seen the need just wired it in in case i wanted to some day. Just built a stir plate for yeast starters. Also just bought a RO Filter (My water has 380ppm Bicarbonates) now i can adjust water for what i am brewing. Also just bout a o2 system to oxygenate wort will be giving it a spin this weekend. Ferment in a temp controled chest freezer. Thats all i can think on right now
  • This weekend
Chocolate Hazelnut porter from Brewing Classic Styles
Irish Red from Brewing Classic Styles
Fresh Hop Ale from recipe i just made in Beer Tools

    Next Weekend
    IPA
    Strong Scottish Ale.

    Week after that
    Barley Wine

    Thats it for now
  • Zilch just finished updating my system with temp control and am ready to start brewing again
