yeah, cacao nibs are known to get infected if above the alcohol line, same with fruit.and also
they do smell weird.it's probably ok to drink.

Tasted today, the haze isn't going away, added extra bentonite. If it does not clear again in
24 hours I will rerack. Due to the cheapness of cider making, I can sacrifice loss in volume

Did you bottle one in a plastic bottle so you can monitor the carbonation level? If you do
that, you can then pasteurize right when it's ready and avoid bottle bombs. Be careful!!!how do

gravity is at 1.012, added sodium bisulfite & benzoate.Expecting it to drop a bit over the
