  • I started with a Mr Beer kit that I got as a wedding gift. I saw a Groupon for a 5 gallon beer making kit so I bought it, and haven't looked back since! One of the best hobbies an adult could have!
  • I am still new at the brewing, so I am still stuck on doing the ME Kits. I hope someday to gain enough knowledge and equipment to do my own kegging...we will see lol!

    Thank you! I sanitized the heck out of everything, so Im not worried there. I just hear all the
    horror stories about cooling as fast as possible because bacteria starts to grow and will ruin
    your beer...

    I do not have a wort chiller, I suck I know, so Im trying to cool as fast as possible to get

    I have it sitting in the pot in my kitchen sink with ice water in there...so yeah Im pretty

    My directions said to have it between 65-70 degrees...I was at 68 when I took the reading.
