that is proly just trub, Hops, and sedimented yeast. I've had a lot more "stuff" on the bottom
of my primary's.You can get the yeast out of the other stuff by yeast washing. Yeast Washing

26 hours after pitching yeast, and it looks fine. The wort is happily bubbling away. I will
from now on make my starters a day or two earlier allow the yeasts to increase their numbers

I used 1 cup of DME because that's all i had. i don't have a stir plate, i just shake up the

I made a yeast starter last night and there is no apparent signs of fermentation. I wonder if i

Not worth worrying over. I'm sure the beer will be fine. relax don't worry and try not to have
too many home brews while brewing. I found it makes complicated tasks immensely difficult.

you can put the rest of the beer back into another carboy, refit airlock, and go to the store
tommorow to get another capper.
