Hot water / bleach soak and a 180 grit sanding sponge. Just enough pressure to remove the
residue without scratching the glass.

Personally, I would cap one side and pressurize with air or co2 while it is submerged in a
bucket of water. Molecules are smaller and you would find more leaks. By submerging it, you

I use a rigid 1" pvc for my blowoff. a 3" piece of 1" tygon attaches the PVC to the carboy. 2
