    You could also add the proper amount of sugar to the keg if you don't filter your beer the
    yeast will carbonate the entire keg. Seems pointless to transfer to bottles and risks more
    oxidation.

    How were the cherries handled? Frozen or freSh? Also helps to keep the fruit submerged by
    gently stirring atleast once a day. Definitely some sort of infection but might still be
    drinkable

    there is definitely leftover buffing compound all over the surface of these, so a thorough
    first wash is important.

    Early spring means crappy winter with no snow, so hopefully we'll have enough water at the end
    of summer to give to our hops

    just went on kegconnection's site saw they're having a sale on AEB kegs of all sizes, if
    anybody was interested. with the price of used soda kegs goin up to $70 before tax at my LHBS,
    I figure why not...

    I've read a little about fermentation in a disposable bag, this might be easier to transport
    and allow for larger volumes of fermentation

    brewed it yesterday, ended up using 2 oz simcoe and 3 oz cascade for the 15-5 min additions.
    used ringwood ale yeast I harvested from a previous batch. hopefully there's enough hop flavor
    and aroma.

    got my 4L pyrex flask for $60 off ebay I believe, 2L are half the price on amazon. I don't
    lager so the biggest starters i make are 3L, but a 1L starter has A LOT of surface area which I
    like compared...

    I'm gonna do an all grain and use your hop schedule. Gonna throw in a lb more Munich but a
    little less crystal. My pipeline is pretty stacked and I have 2 brews on deck so I won't get to
    brew the Brrr...
