    ABOUT ME

  • Greensburg, PA
  • My first exposure to homebrewing was helping my father wash bottles at about age five. Ive been brewing on my own on and off for about 25 years, mostly extract ales. After a few years hiatus, I starting brewing again this winter. My local pub (Red Star) brews very good high gravity beers, but nothing with a low alcohol content, so to save money and liver, I dug out the carboy and fermenter, bought a new hydrometer, and did a couple of session ales. I then took advantage of the Pennsylvania winter to brew a lager, which while higher ABV than is good for me, Im enjoying immensely.
