  • My wife and son watched a 'How's its made' TV show and thought it was something that I might like. They tivo'd the show for me and I finally got around to watching it a few weeks later. I quickly found this forum, did a bunch a research and brewed my first extract in Jan, 2009. The beer sucked but it didn't stop me from wanting to brew more. Now, its a hobby that I thoroughly enjoy. Every batch since the first one has been great, with each one getting better. Its a great hobby to have - little bit of science and sort of challenging to understand everything and make a variety of great brews.

I am the only judge that matters when it comes to my beer. It doesn't really matter what a
judge or anyone else thinks. You can always find people to criticize you and the things you do.
