I get distilled. I used to use my own tap water but due to the minerals in it, my beer has a
funny aftertaste. I was told this by my local HBS and was recommended to get distilled.

You should start with extract brewing. You can get kits for around 60$ that will give you
everything you need. From there its only around 20$ for every batch which will do a bit over 60

Ya wouldnt think so eh. It should be like a normal 2 litre pop. It does go flat over time but
not that fast. I have a few brews bottled in 2 litre pop bottles so I guess I will find out
