I've never had anything close to diacetyl in any brew I've made with 002. The funky tart taste
that comes from British yeast, (which I've grown to detest)....tons of it.

If your doing an extract kit, I would just use the OG that came with the directions.

Second vote for caulk. The ones I have done are still going strong. This is 6 or so years
