the only way i would use that is if it could be taken apart with the screws and check to see if
there is any GREESE at the impeller bering and clean & sanitize it first

i would use a long piece of tie wire with a small cloth looped and smashed on the end. soak the
hose in a bucket of cleaning solution first .

what i do is when the wort is cool i will pour it into the primary then back into the pot ,
back into primary i do this a few times without any issues i have done it this way for years.

it could probably be done but i would not recommend it, i work with stainless steel all the
time . you will spend hours and maybe a couple blades.

i use a standard paint strainer you can get from lowes or home depot , sanitize it first and
put it over your auto siphon. i have been doing it this way for years
