I am not sure where your located but I get my gas through Airgas, and they seem to have places

Thanks for the replies, I have always been hyper sensitive about removing the lid once it comes
off the burner. You've obviously had good success with not using a lid to cool, or just leaving

There is a brewing school in Chicago that you might be interested in looking at. I know it is
not very close to you but it may give you some ideas.
